Our official dress code is Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual. A lot of the day will be spent outside on the beautiful lawns enjoying the english scenery, so make sure you bring a light jacket.

The simple answer is, completely up to you! It is traditional for ladies in England to wear a fancy hat to a wedding, however this is not as prevalent present day. So, if you love the idea and want to embrace it, go ahead! But not at all necessary!
